I'll definitely put these on my list. Have just discovered Deon Meyer (Blood Safari) -wow!! Brilliant. (very Peter Temple).Maxine Clarkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06628509319992204770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15258276.post-43634260917975950442009-11-07T13:15:33.927-08:002009-11-07T13:15:33.927-08:00Maxine: The first one was called Siren of the Wate...Maxine: The first one was called Siren of the Waters, and both were published over here by Soho Press. There's a tragic story about the main character's private life that gets going in the first volume and carries over in the 2nd, and except for the beginning chapter, the point of view is always hers. So the story is very focused on Commander Matinova, both professionally and personally, despite the international intrigues in both novels.Glenn Harperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04869155065647936216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15258276.post-29157438541335984462009-11-07T13:06:55.494-08:002009-11-07T13:06:55.494-08:00This sounds really interesting, Glenn.
